Quite simply, last year my house mates (you know who you are) bought me a lovely pair of Fire Poi. Now this seems like a good pressie for a juggly type person like myself. However, i had absolutly NO idea how to use the buggers…. till now. Miskin has provided me with lessons from Simon in how to do Poi. I just needed 10 minutes with someone who knew what they were doing and i was set. I can now do simple stuff but its a start.

Hokay, so i havent blogged in a while, and for this i appologise, however, to make upfor it i have been doing constructive things, i have added a Style switcher to the Planet, its basically to stop James complaining at me about overlined links which he hates oh so much. I decided that rather than trying to convince him to make his own damn CSS and be happy i’d make it so everyone could be happy with their own styles. And hence, the style switcher was born.

Ok, i just realised that most people probably dont even know this exists yet. So just in case i’ll warn thee all.
No longer do u have to check +5 blogs to see if anyone has posted, nor use clever software to tell you, for neil has setup a Planet for us to use. I tried making my own RSS aggregator, and it worked real nice as well, apart from James dates causing problems. But now, after coaxing james to actually fix his damn code, we have a working planet.

Hey, No blogs of crazyness today, been very busy working with ben on new design drafts for Face Model Managment, a prospective client of Web Dragon. Ive been designing a logo for them to use for the past few hours, and i’ve got a few that i quite like. I’m not sure if i should show you them on here yet, the copyright is mine, but its still a bit of a grey area for draft works.
We have a good idea for the basic site layouts etc and we’re basically waiting for me to finish my logo but me and ben have been working on managment systems in order to make sure

i admit it, ive been rubbish with the ol’ bloggery lately. and for this im sorry. Things have been a bit lazy/busy around me the past few weeks and ive just not got around to blogging. Ok, so after reading charlies blog about how he cant work for sh*t, ive decided to be a great mate and have said “i shalt pay you a single mars bar for every five pages of notes you provide for revision”, James has seen my pledge and has agreed to help with it, paying half, as such we’ve included croxy into the deal, he shall receive 1 Double Decker bar per 5 pages.
Hopefully it’ll mean they actually get some work done with some direct physical reward rather than the reward of passing which is harder to manifest in your mind.

Sys Admin Day

Nothing back about my job yet which is a shame, i’ll email them again on Monday to see if anythings going on. Ive spent alot of time with Ben and Jo recently, its been fun, watching Family Guy (far far far too much) Scrubs and a few films etc. Even went to see Batman Begins again. Things are a bit strange in my life at the moment and i really appreciate them being around. Im not sure what im going to do at the moment, its all a bit new and sad. I wish i could just live in a box for a week but that’d probably be worse than trying to just get on with life.

This is the day after the day after Rhi’s prom
The prom was fun, Rhi had loads of fun being slightly drunk and dancing most of the night with ceri and owain. Was good to watch, got some photos of them three being the last people on the dance floor doing the Macerina more or less in time…. owain was funny thou, he went away and returned shortly after back into the pattern but was about 2 steps behind all the time.
There were arguments between various groups and friends at the end of the night which was a shame and put a bit of a downer on the night, but otherwise it was good.

the Maths exam wasnt as bad as i was expecting, hopefully scrabed a decent pass, but im not sure about the Software Engineering exam, i suspect i failed badly on that, unless my blagging technique pulls me through.
