Once again, the Cardiff University Computer Science Wiki is running and online, this time however its offsite and thus we have more control over it. Be aware that the copyright issues we encountered with running it in dept. are still around, ie Lecturer notes etc are technically either copyright to the lecturer or some other organisation and have been used educationally. As such we might need to think about reguiring a valid student number or something and limiting access, possibly proxy an auth routine via dept or summin. But never the less, its online and groovy, all the old data is still there, the styles arent back yet but its not too different. The

So let me tell you a little story…

You might notice that the blog address has changed, ive moved my website to our Web Dragon account and i’ve decided to scrap my old website and use my blog as primary presence. However, ive found a few problems already and i’m working on them at the moment, hopefully by the time anyone reads this it’ll be fixed and nothing to worry about

Righty, so after around 24 hours of work ive got a fully working theme which matches my original site quite nicely. Im sure there’ll be inconsistancies with it all, but i’ll work on it.
I’m desperate for an idea of what to do wiht the main body of text, especially for something to split each blog apart nicely, any help would be appreciated.
I want to keep it simple, so individual boxes/frames wouldnt really work.
Let me know what you think please, and any feedback on how rubbish u think would also be good so i know what to change to make it all that little bit better

The next few days will probably see my blog change style quite horribly, im going to try and shift from the old view into a theme which matches the main page itself. But we’ll have to see how well it goes.

A game originialy set to be Red Hawks A vs Warwick B became a Red Hawks Vs Red Hawks game on sunday after Warwick needed to pull out. The teams were split up semi randomly, A and B teams mixed up. Charlie and Griff ended up on opposite teams, i went down with Mike and met Steph there a short time after. I brought my camera for the first time in ages. Keep forgetting to charge batteries grrr, not today thought
I took quite a few shots ~100, they’re all yellow which is a bugger, summin to do with White Ballance aparently, but no worries, made myself an Action which can fix it all

And so, bloggery time once again, three in half hour, not bad at all, even by my standards. This time I’m sharing with you the new Mini Concept from Japan, its brilliantly quirky and i hope it does well just to show that cars REALLY dont have to be aerodynamic at all and can just be fun sometimes too. So yeah, tapes… casettes, why the hell not? Just as a demonstration on how wide and varied the ol’ internet can be sometimes i thought i’d share with you the website i found on my merry travels on the information super highway… Basically, its a bazilion (estimate) pictures of old school casettes, ranging from commadore programming tapes, to demagnetising electrical filled clevernesses.
I hope you enjoy them as much as i wonder why they are even there…
